Re: Why only straight cuts lately?

Straight cuts are the base ingredient. You can make a perfectly good video with just straight cuts, although most editors prefer to spice it up a bit with crossfades, masking, etc. Try watching a video with just crossfades. Yech.

Re: Animegraphy 2015

The lamest and yet seemingly most entertaining AMV concept makes a return. And it's nicely synched. That's what you're good at. Nice clean cuts. Sometimes good scene selection. That's about all. Here is why the concept sucks and always sucked. You bombard viewers with fractions of different Anime m...

Animegraphy 2015

http://i.imgur.com/8PmdxU7.jpg 199729 A final hurrah for the anime for 2015! Well, this is the last Animegraphy and likely my last AMV overall. Can't believe I never deleted these files. Animegraphy 2012 - Probably the simplest looking one but took by far the most time to make. http://i.imgur.com/O6Jbo4t.png Animegraphy 2013 - Video track 6 is the name of the anime superimposed on the corner. Track 5 is captions. http://i.imgur.com/ojonkAk....

Re: Your scene selection process for full series ?

1) Scrub the timeline. It's not elegant, but it gets the job done. I've tried being organized and noting specific segments and timecodes, but it simply takes too much time and does not work for me. 2) Encode clip. As for naming, I do <anime name><episode #>, so for example, "naruto 333". Also, make ...
