I have finish the first minute or so of my video, but I'm not completely happy with the video quality. I'm editing the footage in premier 6 directly from the DVDs with AVsynth 2.5. Then I export the video with a lossless video codec and from this point I could use some help on what filters could hel...

Need program to encode to mpeg2
I was looking for a program that can convert the xdiv format to mpeg2. I have virtualdub, but for some reasn I can't find codec to encode to mpeg2. Also if you know any programs on the mac as well, it would be helpful.

Does anyone know any free programs that can convert an AVI into a quicktime file?
How do you recontruct (make it lossless) a file that is already compressed with lossy codec? I know it will loose a significant amount of quality, but for my purposes it doesn't really matter right now.

Transition Prevew Problem
I'm using Premier 6.0 and when I go to add a simple cross-fade between clips and preview, it never seems to work right. I've had everything from it just showing a black picture with the codec name on bottom (I'm using a unregistered version of PICVideo and will change it to the original source later...

Is there a quick and easy way to reverse footage in premier?
