Yeah, go to Wikipedia. It says a group called Geneon licensed it for dubbing, and that Japan has a second season, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai, coming out next month. Not to mention there are 8 PC games out there for it.

So far I haven't run into bootlegs. But I'll keep a watch out for them. Besides that, it really isn't that bad.

This one could be hard, it just depends how many times you have seen the show, and if you know who said it.

All I can say is that the best place to buy good Anime is Ebay. I bought both Serial Experiments Lain and Elfen Lied for a total $30. Looking most places, it would cost, just for one of them, about $80. Need I say anything else?
