Anime doesn't suck. Constipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles might, though.

Actually, the fact that Spirited Away is intended for 10-year-old girls is actually one of the major reasons why Disney is releasing Spirited Away. I have yet to see the movie, but even though I am not a ten year old, nor a girl, I still really want to see it simply because no Miyazaki movie made to...

I don't believe I ever caught that mistake, but I know I remember seeing a sign in it that was supposed to say 'Revolution' but instead said 'Revorution'. But... a candle in a guy's ear? I'll have to look for that next time I watch it. Never heard of Najica Blitz Tactics, but forgetting to draw the ...

I personally really like the trenchcoat/heavy robe style that Eatman started and Trigun made popular. The only other ones I can think of that use it are Hellsing and Gungrave, but yeah. Heavy trenchcoats.

Sure, everybody here has heard of Speed Racer, as everybody here has also heard of Dragonball, Evangelion, Trigun, etc, but none of those are the most popular animes ever made. You've got to keep in mind that those are all the big mainstream titles in America, while in Japan, the ones that ar...

As much as I like both of them, I've never pictured either Vash or Lupin III to be notably 'slick'. GTO, Golgo 13, Alucard, Wolfwood, and Spike, sure.

A few I can add: Bolt Crank (EatMan), Tres (Gundam W), and Dark Schneider (Bastard!!),

As Garylisk said, the current most popular anime in Japan is Doraemon. Of all time, however, that would be close run between Sazae-San and Gundam, I think. Both of those have had an amazing amount of things produced for them, with over 1000 episodes for Sazae-San and over 10 series for Gundam. Howev...

H.T., opening theme to Trigun:

Oh! Oh!

That, translated to English:

Oh! Oh!

Isn't that wonderful?

A Trigun movie? I'd camp out in Hollywood for half a year waiting for the premiere of that one. Otherwise, tv series and OAVs wouldn't generally make a good conversion to a movie, but anime movies to live action movies might not be so bad. An Akira remake, anyone? And let's not forget that they've a...

Yaaay for Monty Python! *joins in singing* Fish heads! Fish heads! Roley poley fish heads! Fish heads! Fish heads! Eat them up! Yum! "I wonder where that fish has gone. You did love it so. You looked after it like a son. And it went wherever I did go. Is it in the cupboard? Yes! Yes! No!... Wouldn't...
