ok so I got vegas 8 pro, but whenever i try to start it up it crashes within 2 seconds at creating file io manager...

now vegas 7 started up perfectly for me, but i was unable to install the media manager, I have vista. and have run out of ideas.

ok i installed avi synth now where do i input this into? AVISource("C:\mypath\myvideo.avi")

I'm kind of slow when first learning things and that article didnt say where to input that.

didn't help now it just says video offline and wont let me see anything at all now not even static

oh and i have the ACE mega Codec package installed.

I have the same problem as you had but my files were already in avi and i cant get it to work so can you help me?
