<_< lots of things to keep an eye out for when you start preparing to compress it. I'll have to look at Interlacing quite a bit more to get a good grasp of how to avoid issues with it.

That guides very thorough :) intense to read after awhile though XD. Thank you though :).

wow sorry about that, I really should have reread my first sentence there, if you can call it a sentence :P.

Will virtual dub use all four cores of my quad core? if not would it be a problem doing other things while it's encoding?
Comprehension question absent banana.

Currently I am using the demo of premiere and going to get the demo of vegas and see if I can find any difference so I can decide on which on to bu...

Thank you, So a program like Virtualdubmod will take a video and convert it into and editable format, and since I have installed huffyuv-2.1.1 I would use that as my compressor, which is a lossless encode of the video. Then I edit it in premiere and export it. Though as I remember seeing and uncompr...

Oh, so is that during the process of either ripping it from the DVD or converting it into another format?

Which then have premiere just detect what it was encoded with in the export settings as what ever you converted it to be?

Audio of Trailers

Anyone know a place that you can get the audio to trailers of movies? Like Pirates of the Caribbean, Passion of the Christ, etc...

or do you have to get them from the DVD?

Help appreciated.

video rendering compressor: huffyuv uncheck optimize stills (from what I've heard it can speed up rendering previews...but can mess up your export) He said that the comopressor should be huffyuv but mine wont let me change from DV NTSC. As for how I export I leave everything default. http://img210....
