Isn't that just a bit lazy on the writers part? I mean with the time taken up by title sequence you could have fit in another couple of episodes worth of plot in most series. Do you ever wonder what plot bombs you could be missing out on in your favourte anime if the titles were only cut by a minute...

What is renewal of evangelion? Is it the remastered versions of the original episodes? I don't really like watching DVDs on my PC, it just doesn't feel as good as watching them on a DVD player. Is it just me or do Japanese TV series have incredibly long title sequences and credits.
The title for Evangelion lasts almost a minute which is ok the first time you see it but starts to drag the 26th time. The credits are incredibly long too.

I have to agree that shinji is incredibly annoying. I love the Eva series but he does get on my tits a couple of times during it. For god's sake shinji get over your father not liking you, I don't like you and I've only known you for 690 minutes (including titles).
