what's going on about the thursday night dinner?

I wasn't sure where to post this topic, but since this section of the forum allows "discussion" of contests... I guess i'll post it here.

anybody know when the New York Anime Festival AMV Contest deadline is? (or if there will even be one this year?)
I can't find it anywhere on the website

i propose a 1 day extension
(saturday night would be the best b/c my optimum online is coming to fix my internet saturday morning)

I've been working on this AMV for a while and I'm using about...50 different sources. Suddenly, as I was working, Vegas crashed and now every time I try to render my file, it constantly says "An Exception Has Occured" Then, Vegas closes down. I searched on the net and I haven't found any solutions. ...

a quick question: is the deadline Dec 1, 11:59 PM EST? or is it Nov 30, 11:59 PM EST? also, i know there's an issue with time zones since this competition is located in Russia, so if I live in New York of the United States, what is the exact deadline? [time and date please] thanks, i just wanna know...

You're able to use your video on other contests after Akross.

is that AFTER the winner is determined? otherwise, that would be trolling >__>

can you sign up for other cons during the Akross waiting period? [like..novemberish - decemberish?]

P.S. It says that Akross only takes videos never aired before. I understand that much. But, are we still allowed to submit into other conventions, or does the video have to be "Akross Exclusive?"
