Compressing xvid videos

What is the best video editor for editing anime?
I've had serious problems with editing on adobe premiere and WMM. i want a new video editing device! preferably something that works well with DivX and Xvid compression.

okay, well i can export the whole thing as an avi but it's rather time consuming and stuff. lol, if you're not willing to put work into it, why do it? 1) download virtual dub 2) download the lagarith codec 3) put videos in virtual dub 4) export with lagarith codec 5) run through any adobe program, files will move smooth as butter okay, i've run into a problem with virtual dub. i've ticked off where i want it to render and i chose the proper codec...

download the amvapp and cccp read the sticky and Read <a href="http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech/">ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>. don't edit in divx, edit in huffyuv or uncompressed for best results... check you have enough RAM, processing power and your video card isn't shitty...
