LittleAtari's Guide to the Org - Chapter 1: Dont listen to Elcalavero Atari, you're officially one of my favourite people on the org  Video was cool, but not really my style - 4/5. Nice work, keep it up. (*cough* I can't believe you're showing us all up and you're one of the newest members o_O ...

Re: Need help with a few types of effects in Adobe Premiere CS4
I don't think I've given advice on the org before, but here goes nothing :P 1. dream-like effect (the sides of the video is faded in white, while the middle has its original colors) 2. having a certain clip, but making it smaller in size, and placing it in a specific area of a video. (I need help wi...

Yeah, that definitely didn't hurt us---the hockey pandering. We were sorry to hear about you getting hurt. Stop that! It's bad for you! Why were you outside in nature instead of inside editing, anyway? :P Especially during playoffs o_O I mean, if you had any flag on your car besides the Canucks, pe...

Re: To Say Goodbye
The Apple Intermediate Codec is a video codec designed by Apple, Inc to be an intermediate format in an HDV workflow. It features high performance and quality, being less processor intensive to work with than other editing formats. Unlike native MPEG-2 based HDV, AIC does not use temporal compressi...

Re: To Say Goodbye
I have an awful hard time believing that Adobe Media Encoder would disallow uncompressed export. I find it even harder to believe that it would do so without allowing you to choose a lossless codec to deal with, or at least something like Apple Intermediate Codec, which as it implies, is precisely ...

Re: To Say Goodbye
Uhh... could we maybe NOT turn this into a "he-said-she-said-Mac-vs-PC" battle? Please? How about we all do the mature thing and drop the subject? O: (please, no one kill me for saying that.) In response to your earlier post: Okay, then I assume this is a MacBook White, is that correct? Black, actua...

Re: To Say Goodbye
I was being terse, but not disrespectful. When you help as many people as the veterans on here tend to do, we start to become very brusque. Nothing personal. Alright, thanks. I'm just really new the to org, having typically been quite averse to it. Mac OSX v10.5.6, 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 gigs ...

Re: To Say Goodbye
I'm one of the people least likely to be "poking fun at [your] incompetence." I meant everything I said quite seriously, and quite without malice. First thing I need to know is what kind of mac you are running, and I will tailor you a response, since my sticky is slightly behind my recent research....

Re: To Say Goodbye
MPEGStreamClip or SimpleMovieX should be more than sufficient, granted you feed it the right information. I've done just about everything I can think of with MPEG Stream Clip. If you have any advice then please, share. Also, please note my exporting difficulties up above (damn the Adobe Media Encod...
