On the vengence ideal. I'm think Vash has rationalized it as "protecting those he cares about" the same Wolfwood has. And while Vash never does say "I'm going to destory Knives" he does point his angel arm right at him in the flashback (I certain the intent wasn't to just hurt him but to hope his an...

Just on City Hunter. I seen the live action movie, its very funny. And it may just have the best fight scene ever (or maybe its just the funniest fight scene ever)

btw. Now that my resting heart rate is back to normal. I don't think it's so much "love thy enemy" as "love everyone." Rem's philosophy was based in making your own way in life, personal freedom, and free will, some of which are not terribly Christian ideals ("not my will but Thine"). I think equat...

So you judge people by their race, and want to enact mass-genocide until only you and your brother are left? I'd be a Wolfwood, if anything. :) You don't think the writer may of been using an extereme view to make a general point about people? I defently more a kill the spiders to save the butterfl...

True. While you definitely can (and in some things it's definitely true) put good/evil to these characters, I don't think that the Trigun characters actually represent those themes. To me, Vash is just a very human character, more so than any other character in the series. So I would be more inclin...

I didn't really see any symbolism other than its general Christian message of "love thy enemy". I don't think one side being good or the other side being evil is sysbolism (if Knives wore a swastika that symbolism, him being evil isn't)

errrrr, in what way is GOTF anti-american ? GOTF is considered by some anti-american because of sentiments expressed by characters (the reaction to american bombers, the general feeling about how Japan will beat america, the shock when Japan surrenders). In truth I consider it more patrotic Japanes...

No, its not one of the girls in the story. Truly its looks like a memory (not to be confused with a flashback). I was just hoping someone had either seen the DVD (which has commentary) or had read the books (which the series is based on). Its not that important but its one of those "so whats that su...
