Very few series actually make me burst out laughing, but since that in itself is an incredible feat... yeah. Comedy: Kodocha (Child's Play) is definately my favorite comedy anime. Many of the jokes/scenes are utterly hilarious because they're also hilarious IRL and are entirely believable (vs. horde...

My area rental stores are a lost cause. The Blockbuster is one of those pathetically small and restricted ones that can't even stock enough popular movies to adhere to the "we'll have it or its free" policy... amusingly, their selection of game rentals takes up almost a quarter of their shelf-space....

Woo!! Two days away! The AMV contest I could have entered, but didn't, and don't care! Woo woo! *bounce bounce* I'm already getting my caffeine-high ready and wishing I could have gotten a room at Park Plaza! Let's hope I don't get mugged on my way out of Boston on the Night Owl bus service... that ...

I wonder if there's some way to repent for the sin of bootleg purchasing... My local library (as politically-correct an instutution as you'll ever find) somehow acquired several Love Hina DVDs in their rental collection. My dismay/shock/amusement at this aside, in examing the actual DVDs one can tel...

Anime Boston...here it comes.

I know I asked in the past who was taking part in the Anime Boston AMV contest, but since the con is right around the corner I figured this was a good time to cover the subject with another thread. Sooo... just have to say that I can't wait for the AMV showing, panels etc. Should be a grand ole time...

I would also add that anyone latching onto quick, cheap bootlegs as a source for AMV footage should save themselves some money and moral quandries BECAUSE it is quite likely that you'll not be able to successfully rip the DVD if it is a bootleg (you name the problems, they'll happen, all entirely ca...

Mmm, good, I an get to work with a clear conscience, then. The old guide gave me the results I wanted. I've been having problems with some of the new xvid stuff out there and would really hate to find out these must be resolved before I can go forward with AMVing (again).

QUAHOG Kombat? I can't imagine too many people even know what a quahog IS... it's a giant surfclam, everyone (a clam as at least twice the width and depth your mouse). My dog likes to crack them open and eat them at the beach.

Ok, I think a few things need to be explained a bit more in depth in the begining. Like starting at the very basics. Maybe we need to have a pointer to some sort of "Basics of Computing" website. Some of the people reading the guides can barely use their mouse :p. Many of them have no clue about ho...

Anime Boston - I recommend the MBTA

Anyone who's planning on attending Anime Boston 2004 should seriously consider taking a commuter train from an outlying area into the city, rather than attempting to navigate this twisted, permanently-under-construction, traffic-clogged city itself. The money you will save by not having to park your...
