Re: VirtualDubMod Directshowsource error?
Is there a chance this might be a compatibility issue with Windows 7? (I'm trying to get things set up on my new computer.)

VirtualDubMod Directshowsource error?
For some reason, VirtualDubMod won't open up AVS files using Directshowsource. I keep getting this error message: Avisynth open failure: Directshowsource: could not open as video or audio. Video returned: "Directshowsource couldn't open file. G:/Footage... etc., etc. The only other thing that's in m...

Fielddeinterlace VirtualDubMod error
So, I'm trying to remove some interlacing from some DVD footage I ripped. I tried using fielddeinterlace(), but when I try and open up the script in VirtualDubMod, I get an error message. Avisynth open failure: Script error: there is no function named fielddeinterlace It's been probably a little ove...

That's the folder I put it in, but no luck. What should I do to try and load it properly?

Re: Cannot open and convert MKV files after deleting DivX.
Which version am I wanting to download? I downloaded the latest one off of there before I posted here, but it's doing the same thing.

Cannot open and convert MKV files after deleting DivX.
Okay, so I've been doing an AMV, and have been using MKV files that I converted to AVI with AvsP and VirtualDubMod. The DivX logo at the bottom right corner of all the footage has been really getting on my nerves. Thinking that having DivX installed had something to do with it, I attempted to get ri...

"Script error: Invalid arguments to function..."
When downloading any kind of AVI file, once I open it in Media Player or anything else, there's an error and an avisynth script at the top of the video. This only started happening the other day, and I'm not quite sure what's happening. The error message is: Script error: Invalid arguments to functi...
