I think you may be right about the telecine and the inverse-telecine thing.
How can I know which one is the right way to go in the future?
I find it to be very confusing.
btw, when I watch the 23.976 fps version and the 29.97 fps version, they both look fine to me. So I wonder what is the difference really?
I am trying to learn about this but everytime I search I always find guides an tutorials but they explain things way to technical for beginners like me. And I really don't know what they are talking about. I end up reading one guide and in the end instead of learning anything I have a list of 10 new things that I have to google and learn about, which then brings even more new things to learn about and it just gets into a whole endless cycle and at the end of the day I basically learned that I must be a moron or something...
Is there any place I can learn about framerates and find out how to choose the right one that is geared towards "non-techie" guys like me?
