Audio sound breaking up after saving movie to computer

Post by ANTIQCOOL » Tue Aug 12, 2008 9:53 am

I wonder if anyone can help. I am having problems editing and saving movie files in Windows Movie

Maker 2.

All I am trying to do is import video into movie maker, remove the existing audio track and replace it with

my own audio track.

I have tried this method with several WMV movie files downloaded from various video sharing sites.

I import the file into Movie Maker, mute the original audio, add my own mp3 audio track. The whole thing

plays back perfectly inside Movie Maker but when I save the file to my computer and

attempt to play it back the audio is corrupted and playback sounds clipped and broken up.....even if I

remove my own mp3 file and unmute the original audio and just try to save the file in its original state, the

same result. I have tried saving the movie in best quality for playback, best fit to file size and all the other

options and the sound is still corrupted

Any assistance would be appreciated.
