Frame Rate

Is there a way to see what the framerate of your video is? After some messing around and editing, i have realized something is wrong with VLC. its giving a frame rate that is too fast. I have the framerate of the video between 22 and 23.976. But i want the exact framerate to use.

Where does it say framerate? IF its frame per second then that program is very wrong. IT says 45.972

Yep, Frames/s is the framerate.
If you load your file into AvsP and start scrubbing through with the preview window open it'l also tell you the framerate.

out of curisotiy, what kind of file are you working with (and how did you determine the framrate before)?

Im working with a .mp4 and i used VlC to find the framerate. However it says 95, which was too fast. So i used the standards such as 29.97. I compared the video in Vdub with the playing video in vlc and noticed speed differences. I continued to alter the framerate in vdub until i narrowed it between 22 and 23

AvsP is a program that lets you adjust and preview your script (and look at changes much easier than doing it in vdub imo)

you need to have avisynth installed for it to work.
