Another DG Index question

Post by KidEgo » Sun Feb 01, 2009 8:41 pm

You'll have to forgive me, I'm really inexperienced with this particular program. There are these two functions on DG Index that Ermac didn't mention in his guide called Playback Speed and Process Priority. What should these be set on? What's the Process Priority determine or do exactly?
All my haters:I'm awesome, and you're just jealous and biased elitists. Fuck you very much.
And I still say CASSHERN SINS SUCKS ASS!!!!

Don't know what they do and you probably won't have to ever worry about them if AD, Ermac, and Zarxrax never covered them. Just set them to the default of "normal" and have a nice day.

playback speed affects how fast the preview goes (unless you use the preview to tell you if you can use force film or something like that this won't affect anything)

process priority changes, well...the process priority. If you are doing a lot of things at the same time, a process (a process is a running program) with a higher priority will do its stuff before other processes.

setting a process with a priority that is too high can cause problems. Most times, you won't notice any difference in a program's speed (you have more important things to worry about in the times when it would make a difference). You can (and probably should) leave it as is.
High is the very highest you ever want to set a process's priority to
