Mactheripper Dummy Vobs wtf

Post by gotenks794 » Tue Jul 28, 2009 2:46 pm

Today, I was trying to rip Code Geass onto my mac. I open up MTR and get it ready and such and then press 'go'. I then get a warning about "Dummy Vobs" and bad sectors and it asked if I wanted to pad or delete the vob. I chose pad. After it finished (which took an abnormally long time) another warning popped up about bad sectors telling me to check before burning, blah blah. So i put the vobs in VLC and everything seemed fine until I noticed something. Half of the first episode was missing. FML.

I'm not sure if anything else was missing but another thing I noticed was that the preview for the second episode was out of order. I'm kinda confused.
Halpz!!

Edit: I re-ripped in the newer MTR and all seems well...

Ok, i really hate triple posting here, but I've run into another, more frustrating issue. When I rip the last disc (Volume 6) a large chunk is missing. I try ripping again. No dice. I tried Title Cell Extraction mode. Still no. I'm at a loss here, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, when I hit "go" on all the other volumes (1-5) a window popped up warning me of ARccOS encryption, but still ripped properly. Volume 6, however, did not have this warning. Instead, at the end of the rip a warning popped up saying something along the lines of "bad sectors were detected...check before burning". I'm not really sure why the last volume is giving me any trouble and its really quite frustrating.
