editing a finished AMV
Let's say I'm working on a multi-anime AMV. Let's also say that my disc space is feeble, and I don't have enough room to put all the footage I want to use into play at once. On Vegas 7.0, can I just put all the footage I have into the AMV, leaving the rest of the song blank, complete it as an AMV and delete the files used to make it, and then just use that AMV as footage for a second AMV, once I've ripped the remaining footage?

You can do that, yeah. Just make sure you're absolutely happy with what you got so far, because if you just keep around the lossless of the vid so far, editing it further could be troublesome...

Before you delete anything, I'd recommend backing up as much as possible. Even if you just store them on a few DVDs, keeping the originals could be useful if you need to re-edit something. And if it turns out that you didn't need them, then you could keep the DVDs for a future AMV project.
