Need Help Fixing My Legion Symbol Image.........

I need to get this image brightened up and stuff for it's appearance as my legion symbol in AION.

For Some reason, I can't get it to go into VDUB and somehow can't seem to fix it on my own. Been a while since I've done picture editing so a little help would be appreciated.

What I need done to it is just to have it brightened up and smoothed out to where it doesn't look as blurry as it does. nothing over the top, just brighter and prettier and presentable. Thanks guys.

When you do it, can you post it here please?

Also one thing I forgot to put in there was the Letters: "S" and "L" If you could put them on there for me in a really cool looking font that matches the symbol in the middle, I would be extremely appreciative.

can't clean it up; its Interlaced ( Jpeg'd ) .. too much damage to correct!

You can't possibly make that look better without ruining the background unless you use a hell of a lot of masking and even then it will still be pretty bad. Render it better next time.
