Ripping World of Warcraft Footage/Assets
I know this is sort of off topic, but does anyone know of an easy way to do this? Obviously I could just record in-game footage, but I really only want some character models doing emote animations and such, not actual set-pieces or locations. Some googling turned up the WoW Model Viewer but a quick glance at their forum suggests that it only exports into like, 3d project files or some such which I know nothing about. Just looking to be pointed in the right direction, as I've got a good AMV idea in mind that would be nice if I could incorporate some WoW characters.

I don't know of any easy way, since the characters and assets only exist as 3D models. If the Model Viewer supports playing the animations, screencapturing that footage is probably your best bet. Otherwise, capturing the in-game footage is about your only way short of animating it yourself in a 3D program like Blender.
