Finishing an AMV, have some questions.

I just finished an AMV made with Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11. It looks pretty good to me anyway. My goal is to submit it to the Zenkaikon Anime Convention. I'm going to render a master copy today, is HD-180 60i YUV a good choice? I'm fairly sure that is the lossless codec I need and the frame rate is perfect. Also, if I want to put a plain black spacer in front of the video is it better to do so before I make the master copy?
