How to avoid getting songs flagged?

I have a popular song that I want to use for an AMV.

It has been used for other AMV's a countless number of times and they have not been taken down.

However, my video is always taken down.

What can I do?

I have tried slowing it down a little, uping the bass, but I can't change it too much or it will affect the timing of the video.

Unfortunately you just don't. Most companies now don't force take downs but instead just monetize your video, but if it's taken down you could try a cover, depending on the song, or just try to upload elsewhere.
