After Effects problem

Post by Seles » Thu Jun 24, 2004 9:50 pm

This really has nothing to do with an amv but I thought this would be the best place to ask. I have a friend who is having some trouble with her After Effects program and here's her question:

I have a PSD file with one transparent layer and I just stuck it in After Effects and keyed in a simple rotation... BUT during the rotation, the image distorts! I know there's a simple fix, I just can't remember it for the life of me!

Does anyone have the solution to this? Thanks ^_^x

so what do you mean by it distorts? does it pixelate? does it stretch? are you in 3d mode or in 2d mode? could you bring some more specifics maybe a Screenshot. what happens.

It stretches in 2D mode.

how did she key it? if she dragged it using the window, she may have accidentally pulled it out during the process. she might have an easier time using the timeline to do it. go into the timeline and make sure only the rotation keys have changed, and not the scale. match the scale on each key and it should be okay. hope that works.
