I have a regular pentium with 98 on it at the moment. I know its a piece of $l-lit but its all I have right now. It has a 7 gig drive with 5 gigs free. Whenever I try to watch certain videos for some ungodly reason they decide to skip on me every few seconds. By skip I mean it actually skips. The music and the video stop for about half a second and then start again. This occures throughout the entire video. But the weird thing is, that it only happens with a few videos and not all of them. What the l-lell is going on?!

Okay, what kind is it?

What kind of media player do you have by any chance? is it windows media player, or perhaps realplayer? if it is realplayer that makes sense, real usually skips alot, but if its windows, you may need a new version.

Im not sure, you need an updated widows software to upgrade youre media to the highest one out there right now. im running on widows Xp 2001 home edition, so it came with windows media version 9. it may just have to do with the software that your running on. windows 98 is obselete( i hope i spelled it right) right now, so you probably just need to upgrade your computer, or buy a new one.

That's one hella old computer, because 30 Gigs is the minimum now. Also, considering its using Windows 98, its probably using a Pentium 2 or lower, which definitely isn't gonna run the majority of videos.
