virtualdub wont open Avisynth Script

Im using AMVapp and reading the guide completly. i have tried undownloading and redownloading, Starting from scratch, and everything but virtualdub wont open my avs script. im using DGIndex too.

What error message does it give you?

Can you post your script?

It says this exactly.

Avisynth open failure:
Avisynth: script open failed!

And i dont think i can post my scipt. when i saved in DGindex it made a Avs file with the d2v file automatically like it said it would in the guide.

Open the .avs script with Notepad or any other text reader.

Have you tries using VirtualDubMod, instead of plain VirtualDub?

That part in bold is unnecessary if the .d2v file is in the same directory with the .avs script. I would doubt it would affect opening the file through (on the contrary, it would only re-inforce it).

What version of VirtualDub are you using? Was it the one included in the AMVapp* (I would assume you're using the newest version of the AMVapp)?

*Yes, I know the one in the AMVapp is VDubMod.

Yes I am using VirtualDubMod. (sorry i didnt add mod before). I have tried everything I can think of twice. I just cant get it to work.

If you are using the amvapp, please install the P4 patch and see if it fixes this problem.
