Ripping Audio

Post by amuroray2000 » Thu Feb 17, 2005 2:39 pm

Hello!

I'm trying to rip some audio from a DVD. The problem is that I'm trying to rip the audio from the "menu" portion of the disc. Is this possible? It's the only way I can get that music without words in it. Any programs out there that can do this?

SmartRipper can do it: in Movie mode, figure out which title contains the menu, then expand it to select the proper program chain, then expand that to select the proper angle, which should bring up the Chapter and Cell lists. For a menu, you'd probably want to select all chapters in the program chain.

The process should be similar in DVD Decrypter: in IFO mode, figure out which title contains the menu (they're the "VTS_#"s), then expand it to select the proper program chain, which should bring up the Chapter and Cell lists.

What do I do if the menu doesn't have a title?

I see two titles on my DVD. One for the actual movie and the other is for the opening credits stuff with the Dolby sound and others.

Linked to in about every other post in <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... 7532">your other thread</a>. :?

Read them already, and get the programs mentioned (for the third time, THEY'RE FREE).
