Hey, I'm hoping someone can help me out on this. I ripped Resident Evil: Code Veronica on PS2 onto my comp, got the movie files and checked them out on my DVD2AVI. However, I noticed that some of the FMVs aren't there (mainly those of Steve Burnside, who I'm trying to make a music video out of). I heard that some files were hidden and I could use SmartRipper to see those, but it wouldn't detect my PS2 disc. Is there anyway to access those FMV files that I don't see listed when I attempt to take the .PSS files out?
Also, a little side problem. Whenever I saved a movie segment on DVD2AVI as an .AVI file, I cannot open it in Windows Movie Maker because it says the file is "not valid or corrupt." I know it's not corrupt, but I don't understand why it's not valid. The file itself doesn't contain anything, either (I saved a movie segment as lll.avi, and when I check the file properties, it says 0 kb). Anyone have any idea what's going on? On a side note, I can't play .AVI movies on my Windows Media Player, either. It says I don't have the proper codec, but I can't seem to be able to get the codec, either.
I'd appreciate any help, although I'm mostly concerned about the missing fmvs. Thank you.

Re: Missing Video/.AVI Question
Don't use DVD2AVI to save .AVI files. Its AVI export capability doesn't work right.Fial wrote:Also, a little side problem. Instead, use it to save .D2V project files, which are then servable with AVISynth, like so:

Try installing ffdshow:

Or, if that doesn't work, read this:
