Windows movie maker problems

I can understand if this question has been asked before but, i just cant find the topic. See my problem is that whenever i put my edited part of my video on WMM and the audio that i have ripped to a .wav it shuts down and I cant really figure out how to get passed it. I have the VicBond007 guide but it says nothing about WMM could someone help me? I am sorry if this has been ask before but i am real noob when it comes to this stuff. I would be thankful for any help on the matter
