The problem is that you didn't post the .wma. You posted the MSWMM, which is Mircsoft Windows Movie Maker's save format... you have to "Save Movie File" to make it into at WMA.

This is partly also why the file you uploaded is only 200+KB in size.

On the Edit My Videos page, you can request a deletion of the file you uploaded (make sure to specify that you only want the file deleted, not the whole video entry) so you can upload a fixed copy later.

The guide is wonderful, but in case you aren't skilled enough to use AVIsynth and such, and/or are on dial-up thus can't afford to send big huge files, here's a little pointer on what to pick in the Save Movie Wizard:

Video For Broadband (512 kbps) if you want a movie file that's small in resolution (physical size) but still quite viewable. The 340 kbps option is also sort of doable, but not recommended as it does have a noticeable lowering of video and audio quality. 512 is fairly close to a good encode for the size.

Video for Local Playback (2.1 Mbps) is for if you want a higher-resolution video with pretty good sound quality. Now, this will still be lossy, and if there's any quirks in your source file they'll be magnified. In other words, it might be pretty pixelly, but at least more viewable on a hi-res computer or at full-screen.

((Do NOT use the Video for LAN (768 kbps) option if you can help it. I've made that mistake in my past (along with oh so many others ^_^;; ). It steps up the resolution to a higher size, but has very low quality video and sound, and is just plain ugly.))

Keep in mind: The choice you make should depend on your source video. If the video you used for your project is already low-resolution (320x240 or so), or low-quality (pixellated, blurry), then please use the 512 kbps option for a small output video. Raising the resolution on an ugly source only amplifies the ugliness; it does not add quality to something that lacked it in the first place.

I really hope that helps; good luck with your work.

...As was already said, yes, you can fix what you already entered instead of deleting it. But I see you've tried so many times you may as well request deletion, explaining that you messed up since this is your first time.

As for explaining it... I'll do my best. I would first recommend clicking on the supplied link with the explanations and pictures and seeing if you can understand that. At least the very first few steps.

If that doesn't work, then here it is: In Windows Movie Maker, with your project open, go up to File, and select Save Movie. Depending on your Movie Maker version, it might say Save Movie Wizard or something. The key word here is MOVIE. Not Save File.

You will get a menu asking what quality you want to save your movie as. It might say low, medium, or high, or something like that. It should also have Other or More Options... underneath. You click that, to open up more specific options.

Select whichever one says 512 kbps after it; that's the simplest one to deal with and pretty good quality.

Click through and allow it to save. Be patient, as it will take a bit of time. When it is done it will say so; click Finish if your version has it available.

And that's it, you upload that finished product.
