My apologies if this has already been talked over, I wasn't able to find it using search.
I'm in the process of making an AMV with Adobe Premiere Pro and probably After Effects, and I might need some footage from the opening and ending anime clips. I want to get rid of the credits because it wouldn't seem right. Is there any app out there that can help me remove them, or am I better off just buying the boxset and seeing if there's a textless opening/ending there?
By the way, these are ogm files if that's relevant.

Sometimes, if you are lucky and with alot (and I mean alot) of work you could Photoshop out the credits out of portions of OPs and EDs. The nice thing is many anime DVDs have clean OPs and EDs as part of the extras, you just have to find out which volume has it. (Unless it's ADV, since you either have every damn disc with the clean OP/ED or in the case of the newer thinpack sets, none of them. :/ )

also because there's a lot more to remove with credits than with subtitles. The images would probably look freaky.JaddziaDax wrote:http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... efault.htm

in case you can't find the textless OP/ED and have to remove the credits, you would get the best possible results with photoshop. But it is frame-by-frame editing. Although you could probaby remove the same group of words from every frame that has it if you use a mask. I'm not familiar enough with photoshop to explain how to do that, but I do know how to do it neatly in The GIMP
Anyway, good luck.
