Take for example this,
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=11372
created when i first started, completely voilating the Audio rules lol
so i'd like to rip the old audio out and remix a high quality one for both this and my FLCL vid...
Tryed using vdubmud, but it aborts saying its divx 5.0 and can only direct stream copy - i.e no processing, thus no adding HQ audio to vid...
suggestions anyone appreciated... or do i reallly have to go re-install divx 5?
Trying to do a HQ sound mix to old vids.

are you asking how to remix the audio or how to insert the new audio into the old video file?

Re: Trying to do a HQ sound mix to old vids.
The "only direct stream copy" part applies only to the video. You should be able to do full audio processing as you normally would.gurukast wrote:so i'd like to rip the old audio out and remix a high quality one for both this and my FLCL vid...

Also, the XviD codec should work fine for VfW decompression of videos with the DX50 FourCC; you can get it here:
http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml
(be sure to get the full codec and not just the DirectShow decoder)
