how do i save dvd footage to my computer

This is annoying, I know how to burn a DVD, but I have no idea how to actually how to save the footage onto my computer so I can use it to make my amvs!! I know how to make an amv...I've done it many time before with the minimal amount of footage I've been able to save off the net, that really limits what I can and can not make(I've to make a couple of different ones using the same footage over and over again and I'm really sick of it).

Could somebody please help me!!

The software I have is DVD shrink 3.2 and Nero start smart if that’s any help.

You can use DVD Decryptor for that

no, but you do need a dvd drive (since you can't read dvds with a cd drive)

oh no!! that software is no longer avalible...would you(or anyone) know of anyother dvd ripping software?

you can still get in from www.doom9.net
(click downloads...it's under descrambling/ripping tools)
