This may be a dumb question, but...

i have a DVD i wanna rip to my computer, but my computer doesnt have a dvd player :shock: Is there anything i can do? and would ripping it at a friend's house and then saving it to a CD work?

You cannot rip DVD files to your computer without a DVD+R(W?) drive. You CAN rip the files at your friend's house, then put those files on CDs (as far as I know), but you're going to need a LOT of CDs. It'd probably be more cost-effective to just drop, what, like $30 and buy a DVD-RW drive for your own computer. Newegg has a lot of other cheap drives, so look around.

Yeah. I'm sure if you look around on Google you'll find plenty of tutorials. If you're not afraid to open up your case, plug in a few wires and screw in a few screws, you shouldn't have any trouble.
