PSP Footage ripping?

Is there a way to rip videos from a PSP game? If so, which program is needed?

yes. pspupdates.com has some utilities for UMD dumping. not that i have any clue which ones, but they're out there.

PSP video ripping is perhaps the easiest. Extract the contents of teh iso anywhere on your directory and search for .pmf files. Then you will need Elecard's H.264 MPEG4 codecs to run to decode them on windows. Audio files vary in format.

Yeah, but will I need a USB cable to rip from PSP? Also, will FMV-extractor work with PSP games? If so, I need a step-by-step explanation of how it'll work.

You will need an iso image of the game to see the files inside it. If you want to decode pmf files then you can use the above mentioned codecs. Google for "pmf codecs" or something similar and you'll be in for a treat. You can then use them in anyway you want.

* To take a dump of the UMD in your psp, use UMD Dumper or something similar.
* If the pmf files are not residing in the iso folders e.g. they are inside .BIG and volume files, then you'll need extractors written specifically to search and extract them.
