Ahmm... I think if the DVD Decrypter didn't find any a VIDEO_TS Folder in the game, there are possibilities that the Extractor will just stop in the midst of the process or there might be no videos in the game(even if there's an opening intro in the game or many lots of videos there), but there's still a chance, Think about the .DAT file(it's contains video , :?: ryt?), I think, But in another method... *still discovering*. And also I found out that Tenchu:Wrath of Heaven don't have any videos *sobs* , And I also tested Tenchu:Fatal Shadows, FFX-2, Dynasty Warriors 5:Xtreme Legends and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and there as no trouble, The DVD Decrypter didn't complain about the VIDEO_TS folder thing. Well, You see maybe if the DVD Decrypter didn't find any VIDEO_TS Folder the your just wasting you're time.... (Just Explore the PS2 DVD inside, there you can see if there's the VIDEO_TS folder) Well, I'm just sharing the fact, you know? So you don't need to be worry! :D

I don't think there is a ps2 game that has a "VIDEO_TS" folder. That's more of a standard format for actual dvd moves.

The difficulty of ripping ps2 fmv's off of ps2 games has to do in large with only one important factor. That being how obvious the hex headers to the movies within the game are. In most if not all scenarios, ps2 games containing movie files with hex code starting with
"0000 01BA 4400 0400 0401" are often VERY easy to rip. This is because programs such as Nova extractor, cube media player, and pss cutter can easilly scan and identify files like this. (This is why FFX-2 is such an easy game to extract fmv's from)

When it comes to extracting movies off of ps2 games, DVD Decrypters' only use is to create an iso image of the game. Pass that step, it's pretty much useless since it defintely won't be able to extract any movies for you directly. And for the record, whether or not a ps2 game actually has a VIDEO_TS folder (which once again, I've never seen before) does not bare any impact on how likely or unlikely it is to extract movies off a given ps2 game.
