how do u crop the vids to take off subs?
or do u do it using vurtualdubmod?

using avisynth, add the follwing line:
crop(int left, int top, negative int right, negative int bottom)
example: crop(8,0,-8,0) crops 8 pixels off of the left and right sides

using vdubmod:
go to video, filters, add the null transform filter, the greyed-out crop button should now be selectable

but the best option is to get the dvds, that way you don't have to worry about subs at all (unless the liscensing company decided to hardsub them in...then you're pretty much screwed)
