editing audio

I thought this thread had died...
In any case, if all you want to do is cut stuff out, and you don't want to learn a new program, use what's known as a 'crossfade' on the parts where you've made your cut. Obviously you don't want to cut in the middle of a word, or note. Yes, it auto-snaps to the nearest frame.
It looks like this:
I've included the audio mixer controls, because while simple they are functional.
Note: this is at the one frame zoom level.

Ugh, if you do that, it'll still sound horrible. Use an program designed for AUDIO editing if you're going to do that. A lot of people have posted about Aduacity, which if a great program, and is posted and used in examples in the Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>.
