Posting links to illegally downloadable footage is against the rules. This rule was meant for fansubs and licensed animes. This is slightly different since this is just simplifying a tedious method and making it available to the public. As avdcptr said, people don't buy Kingdom Hearts 2 for the video, they buy it for the game.

And distributing those FMVs without Square Enix's permission is illegal. I post on a site that used to do it, www.eyesonff.com, and they recieved a cease and desist from Square, who threatened to take legal action if they didn't stop.

So yes, it's against the rules.
