Not in the way you're thinking - because that would be a ban-able offense.Zabuza (Demons) wrote:so...........is anyone gonna answer this guys question?

I doubt there are any alternatives, unless something like iTunes sells the footage you're looking for (highly unlikely)

Re: Getting videos without having DVD's??
The problem with purchasable downloads is they will be DRM'd. Also, the last time I downloaded some free episodes from iTunes or other video sites offering samples, the quality was absolutely horrid. They usually use a very low bitrate or deinterlace in some brute force way, thus the video looks like crap. I don't see the point of paying for something nearly the cost of the DVDs (a lot of times it costs more!) for DRM laced crappy video. I won't pay for downloads unless they can look as good as I can do with Handbrake or MeGUI myself!Hareoic wrote:I doubt there are any alternatives, unless something like iTunes sells the footage you're looking for (highly unlikely)

You could always buy the DVDs from Amazon ore somewhere, or if you can't afford them then you could always borrow from someone who has them. Using downloaded footage isn't a good idea since the quality isn't as good, it's usually full of subtitles, AND it's illegal. I DO own the DVDs, but my computer has no disk drive so I can't rip them onto the PC. Damn.
