Question about file format

The drive all my editing stuff sits on is 80 gig, it's more than do-able. Sure, I don't keep the VOBs around (the clips cut from them generally don't take up mountains of space - 200-some 5-25 second clips in 8 or 9 gigs is a reasonable amount if you use RGB24 HuffYUV at standard def), but I do keep LQ MJPEGs on the drive for reference. If I *absolutely* need to get more clips, I can find them with those and selectively put the VOBs back on.
