Make sure you're not using the DVSD codec...that your project settings DON'T say DV or Microsoft DV...you'll want to export from premiere as huffyuv. When you say your "uncompressed" won't load in vdub, that's why...it's probably DVSD...just go in project settings, under general, make sure it just says "video for windows" and not "DV" or "microsoft DV" and try that...might want to save a backup copy of your timeline before you do this...might skew things a bit..premiere can be weird :/

Export as huffyuv, you shouldn't have any troubles when you load up in vdub and go to xvid. (although I'd highly suggest looking into h264)
