help with my new anime

Im almost done with my anime but theres one problem i got the virtualdub program but i dont know how to install it and if I half to.

and how do i enter snapshots into Virtualdub, all i see is how you can input video

i really dont want to redo the back ground over and over with my pen is there a way i could get some software or a program that wont have delay between slides and i wont half to redo the back ground over and over

this is my new personal totally original anime

If you have images called...

pic0001.bmp
pic0002.bmp
pic0003.bmp
etc

and load pic0001.bmp, it will append the rest automatically.
