Tagging your videos

Post by Elfed » Mon Jun 28, 2004 9:53 pm

I have Adobe Premiere and I was wondering if there's a way I could "tag" my AMVs. Not just a simple image at the beginning. But people get the movie to "play" while there is the title, artist ect. on it. I looked in the forums and couldn't find this question already asked nor did I see it in the manuals. So if I overlooked it. Sorry. And thanks for any help in advance!

if you mean tagging your author name and title throughout the whole AMV, you can make a title in premiere of ur name and run it through the whhole AMV
Lurid Enchantment - ICYCLOUD
urban suite - TRYTHIL
大切な思い - BAKADESHI
Expansion - RESK

In Premiere, make a title that includes the information you want, stick it in a layer on top of the rest of your video at the beginning, and fade it out when you want to (and reverse the process for the end if so desired).

If you're using Premiere 6.5 or lower, and there's a problem with the title not being transparent where it should be, right-click on it in the Timeline, open its Transparency window, and select Alpha Channel. That should do it.

Nah! Just let the tag cover up the whole vid. Transparency's for pussies.

Might not be what he ment, but it was EXACTLY what I was thinking.
Signatures are for saying things in a hope to be remembered. I'm not sure if I even want you to remember me.

Yeah, because the video was part of the Jet Set Radio Project.
