Is Premiere Pro 1.5 THAT bad at editing 23.976fps footage?
I was going through the guide here and the author mentions that Premiere Pro 1.5 is "patchy" at editing footage in 23.976 fps. Anybody have any experience with this? Is it really that bad? I haven't tried it yet so I wanted to hear people's opinions on the matter to see if I should give it a shot. The whole process of needing to convert my footage to 24fps and alter my audio as well has been tedious, so it would be great to be able to leave my footage as is and simply edit at 23.976fps.

The problem is that premiere pro 1.5 is very very inconsistent about this framerate. Sometimes it will think it is 23.976 and sometimes it will think it is not.
This will cause things to get very messy. If you value being able to time clips correctly and the edit you make to be consistent then I recommend using the 24fps method. It's not that bad once you've tried it.
