What the hell are you talking about? Change the words of the song?
This is how you do it.
step one: go call up the guy who made the song.
step two: offer a couple 100 thousand dollars to the guy
step three: rip the song off the new cd with the new lyrics
step four: realize how much of a dumb ass you are
Just kidding dude. You can take out lyrics. But change? Maybe you can rearrange the lyrics and make the song sound retarded. Or make it just sound like techno and be repetitive, but I know thats not what you want. God damnit why did I respond to your post?

it depends...
if the song has the lyrics sung in a similar chorus somewhere else in the song, then yes, with a little editing and some artistic blending, you can.
for example, song lyrics ABC & D arranged as follows:
A & B
C & D
and you want to replace lryics B with lryics D, you should be able to do it.
Now, if the song doesn't have the lyrics you want, then you're out of luck.
hope this helps some.

Re: song editing
From your question I can ascertain that you either want to move words around or add extra words. You can achieve this to some extent. Here are some examples and tips on how to do it. Please note that this will involve some sort of Audio editing program.Usagi-dono wrote:hi, i want to change some words in a song
is it possible to do it and how
1) Removing words, you may have come across music played on the radio with explicit lyric content on the original track, but somehow magically the offending words have been altered or removed completely. There are several ways to do this. You can find the point in the track where the word is and cut that segment out, insert a bleep or any particular sound you whish, some clever editors cut in the same offending word but played in reverse, or sometimes they insert a portion of the actual track that has a similar beet key and melody, making that transition appear to have dropped out in the vocal in that instant.
2) It is also possible to splice out whole verses and choruses or any structure of a song using the same technique. If you are able to accurately splice music in appropriate places you can re-edit the arrangement of a song, you can make it shorter or longer, this has been briefly discussed by a member above (“A, B, C, D”) You can take this one step further and remove parts of verses and choruses down to individual beets, you can also switch them around, on thing though I would suggest that you stick to the time signature as much as possible, do not add extra beets to the rhythm or take any our for that matter, you may end up with a terrible mess. However further on this point, sometimes it is possible to get what is called a stuttering effect with the technique above, Techno music Remixes are done in very much the same way. Where for example a phrase in a song may have these words “Do-you-think-I’m-se-xy”, with the technique applied it become “Do-Do-Do-Do-you-think-I-I-I-I’m-se-se-se-se-se-x-x-x-y”. This technique works well in conjunction with flashing screens in your video projects, where you syncopate the flashes on the screen with each syllable in the audio path.
3) The final suggestion is that it is possible to replace words within the song by using similar editing techniques as mentioned above. The trick here is that the word the is being replaced or swapped must have the same key (Note), tempo and possibly length in order to achieve this seamlessly. This will take some practice and a good ear.
Note not every technique mentioned here is totally accurate, audio engineering/editing, even though sometimes a precise science, leaves lots of room for interpretation, by this I mean, some things you will be able to do a good job with, and some things will seem virtually impossible. However the Listener may sometimes be non-the-wiser.
If you need I can elaborate more on certain topics.

thats what i did for my first vid, my first vid is completely censored with sounds in place of explicit words. Thats the beauty of my vid, but the only prob is u have to do it absolutly right or it will suck. Its tough, but acid was my best friend for this. If u wanna listen for urself u can, just check my profile.
Oh god, that black dude with the afro is always making those damn trash ass music hip hop amvs...he needs to do something with techno or rock....
