How to rip sound out of Kingdom Hearts 2 Pss files?

As above. The PSSPlayer 1.26 has video but no sound. I've have followed the PS2 FMV Ripping guide with no luck

Demultiplexing it in PSSDemux of PSSPlex will give me a dat file or a.sub file which has static inside.

Demultiplexing the m2v files further gives me yet another dat file with static in place of sound.

If the PSSPLayer play the files but only video without sound. Its meant u have to rip the sound by other soft. How about use the MFAudio Tool ? Beside that, besure you rip the rite and full movies file by using HEX method. Dont belong to the Nova Extractor , u should try the soft FMVTool Beta 0.5 written by GIGaHeRz .

And hey when u open a PSS file with Cube Media Player 2.0. The program will auto spit the PSS file into 2 file : movie + sound. So u just extract the sound or the movie to watever u want.

PS : Kingdom Hearts 2 movies files can copy direct from your PS2 disk.

ok MFAudio hangs when i scan the pss file and is unable to play the m2v or the dat file with sound because there is only static.

k i'll try cubemedia player. However opening one of the pss files gives me just a video stream. the audio bitrate is 0 though so that looks like a bad sign
