Audio FPS Change in BeSweet

Post by MajinZero » Mon Feb 12, 2007 9:49 pm

Just for the sake of background, I am in a situation similar to what is suggested by Willen response post in this topic. That is, I converted my clips to 24FPS, edited the video in Premiere Pro, but used the original audio rather than 24FPS converted audio. Hence, I'm attempting what he suggests in #2:

2) follow OPTION 1: export your video and audio separately. Change the 24fps video to 23.976fps with AVIfrate or AviSynth. Change the audio to match using BeSweet from 24fps to 23.976fps.
However, when I tried the latter, BeSweet produced an audio clip that was at half the length of my original audio (from 2:27 to 1:13). I understand that it's supposed to change slightly, but at a sped-up halved version, it's...well, unusable, obviously.

Help?

If you installed BeSweet with the AMVapp, you should have an AbsoluteDestiny_WAV_24_to_23.976fps profile available to you as shown here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... 24fps.html

If you installed BeSweet by itself, then the profiles are available here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... ofiles.ini

And just to be safe, make sure you export your audio as shown here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... xport.html
Compressor: Uncompressed WAV
Sample Rate: 44100 Hz
Sample Type: 16-bit
Channels: Stereo
Interleave: 1 Frame

Re-exporting my audio seems to have done it. Thanks for the help.
