Extract audio stream from mkv with mkvmerge

Ok ok...

I open mkvmerge choose, open the mkv, the audio track what I want and start demuxing.
Now I have an mkv, can change it into different extensions (.wav, .mp3, .ogg ...), but only VLC plays the file and of course: I can´t edit with it.

So what´s wrong? What do I have to do, to make it to something "useful" (of course .wav preffered)?

mkvmerge says that the stream is:
A_AAC/MPEG2/LS/SBR

Help? =/

get DB Poweramp

install the AAC Codec

Convert your file to something you can use. Let me know how it turns out.

I haven´t tried DB Poweramp yet, but I can normaly play .m4a in Winamp, but I can´t play those files in Winamp. =/
