ok this is really hard to discribe... but if your on stage (theater) hit the rim of the drum you heard a loud click... but the sound im looking for is that lingering soft noise echo type sound afterwards...
im trying to get a more dramatic effect our of the last click in an audio clip... but that echo gets cut off by the rest of the song (the rest is gone i cut it after the click) and it really doesn't sound right...
i've tried extending the echo.. but it doesn't work... i get this vibrating sound that totaly ruins it... i've also tried cutting the short echo i have and duplicating it... but the closest i can get to what i want has this wwaahhwaaahhwaahhhwaahhh kinduf sound... hmmm wonder if that made sense... its volume rises and falls so it doesn't work...
maybe even a song that has a similar sound effect that doesn't cut out... or maybe even a song that ends in a rim tap and leaves it linger before cutting out...
well im not really expecting too much outta this cuz its kinduf absurd... but going to great lengths for the little stuff seems to be my obsession... and downfall...

well you can forget this post...... . . . . . lock it... hell delete it... w/e... i worked on getting this one detail to work for 5 hours tonight and after looking over what i was doing... i decided against even using that section of audio... UGH why do i have to be soooo driven toward uselessness... 
oh well now to figure out the rest of my amv (great... first 5 hours spent working on the thing and i've got nothing to show for it i can tell this is going to be fun ::pulls trigger brains go everywhere:: )
